Hello everyone, so this is my first time posting and I could do with some advice please (apologies if it’s a bit lengthy). so I have always eaten relatively healthy and worked out a lot. I’m a 30m 5,11 202lbs and most of my life (since 17 I have worked out hard and eaten pretty clean most of the time , I have one day a week where I would eat whatever I wanted normally a cheat meal and a few snacks throughout the day ), that was up until three years ago I became ill with the “big c” , 12 months later I was in remission (the treatment was very strong and I have lost nearly all of my muscle along with my tastebuds :/ ) so my previous diet of very plain bland foods , chicken, pork, beef, rice , cous cous / sweet potatoes and vegetables / eggs , are now tasteless to me and nearly inedible (even with chilli sauce to help, I can only taste really strong flavours now) but I also have developed a reaction to rice since treatment , I get really bad itching and rashes all over my body. White and brown rice , I only have this rash when I eat rice 😬.(I’ve had this since treatment finished and the rash isn’t disease related) So I ask , would any of you be able to suggest a alternative to rice and cous cous , to go with my chicken/fish meals please.
