People who work full time: Please share your exercise and eating routines!

I’ve just ordered a treadmill and I’m excited to get into an exercise routine but less excited to get up early to exercise. I’m really hoping I can make it work because I really just don’t have the energy or time after work between trying to cook dinner and just doing other stuff. This probably sounds dramatic but I find it hard enough to cope with working full time never mind following exercise videos and meal plans etc so I think mindlessly walking on the treadmill will be good for me. I’ll do some occasional Pilates and weights sometimes to add variety.

I work 8:30am-5:00pm in an office (sedentary) I plan to get up at 6:00am Put workout clothes on and exercise til 7ish Shower and get ready for work and leave by 8 (includes washing and blow drying hair which has to be done because I’m a very greasy human, yuck)

I currently do intermittent fasting and don’t usually eat until 1pm ish. I’m hoping I can keep this up but if I really need to eat earlier I suppose I could have a protein drink or something.

I struggle with being organised enough to take lunch to work so usually end up getting something random or having “healthy” (not) takeout like Subway etc

I want to switch to taking an “adult lunchables” selection of stuff to work like some cut up veggies, crackers, meat, cheese, etc. stuff that is easy to mix and match and you don’t have to actually cook it.

Then once I get home I will have a standard dinner, my one dessert portion and am free to relax because I’ve already done my exercise for the day.

Please share your own routine! Do you think mine sounds sustainable? Please tell me I’m not the only one who is totally exhausted all the time, probably due to lack of exercise, bad sleep and it’s just a viscous cycle. Would love to hear your tips for making it easier. Thanks :)
