Hey all, I've posted a few times here and there. I started this year at 265 lbs, and I'm down to 247! I consume about 1800 calories a day. I try to work out everyday or every other day. I don't take a while lot of supplements either. I tried that last year, and just felt burnt out trying to keep up on it. Instead I've shifted to working on what I eat. High protein low fat and carb. I do give myself a cheat day if I feel the need for it every Thursday. On that day I usually eat about 6-8k calories. I just love hot dogs! I still drink beer from time to time, but far less than I did. Besides the hot dog cheat day, I don't consume much processed food at all. I drink a gallon minimum of water a day to help fight cravings. My take away from this year is increase activity levels, eat better, drink more water and just enjoy the journey. I've tried to be super strict in the past, only to fall off what my diet is due to burn out. If I want a burger that day, I don't eat a whole lot more that isn't veggies or fruit. Enjoy life, and find what fits for you and your lifestyle. I don't always want to go to the gym. I don't always want to drink water over soda. I also don't always want to eat an apple before I make myself a snack. But everytime I do, I find I am better for doing so. Shirtless guy in the first picture. https://imgur.com/gallery/eIjQF6U
