Hey!
I have been trying to lose weight for almost a month now and it has been working well! I am intermittent fasting and consuming 900 calories a day. I eat low-fat salads or chicken with yogurt and a protein bar/shake every day, sometimes with some fruit or Brussels sprouts. This is all fine and dandy but I’m getting sick of the same meals every day and I want to know if there are any low calories restaurants/take out places or just foods in general that aren’t what you see on every website that are relatively filling and would fit into my 900 cal window. I was thinking of poke bowls but they differ really greatly in calorie count— so maybe just only have the poke bowl to make sure I’m under 900? I was also thinking sushi or a Korean bbq place— but I’m not sure if they show the calories. I would love to find a restaurant that tells you exactly how many calories (give or take) is in the food so I can have piece of mind that I’m hitting the right range. I’ve also considered froyo with no toppings to satisfy my sweet tooth (I went totally cold turkey from processed foods and I definitely have an addiction to them so this, I felt, would remedy that) i am not too concerned with the macros, as long as I’m getting enough protein and it’s good fats and not all carbs I think it’s fine, I’m not trying to get shredded or anything. I was going to try those shirataki noodles but aside from that, how do you keep things interesting and know what you’re eating??!
I also wanted to note: the posts on here have really helped me to get started fixing my health and weight so I can be in “normal” range for my age and height— you guys are so inspiring and I love this community.
