"Progress" Pics: http://imgur.com/a/4UGWa53
I shared my progress last year and got some great feedback. Unfortunately though, I gained back most of my weight due to several factors: I got a new job, moved out, suffered from hand/arm injuries (and still do), gyms shut down for months, and quality chicken wasn't available for months due to the pandemic.
Excuses or not, that's just what caused my weight gain and I think it's important to show how you can fall off if you're not careful. My weight has fluctuated drastically several times in my life and I'm looking to get back in shape and stay there for good this time. I want to dedicate to a healthy lifestyle for life.
Everyone is human and you just have to take it day by day. Learn to forgive yourself and move forward. My plan will be similar to what I had success with previously: high protein meals/snacks, caffeine, cardio and lifting. Details are in my last post but feel free to ask me any questions.
The difference this time for me is I'll be more focused on cardio due to my hand/arm injuries (wrist tendonitis, tennis elbow, De Quervain's Tenosynovitis and possibly others) mostly caused/exacerbated by my desk jobs. I tried getting workers comp but failed.
This isn't ideal, and I probably won't come out looking "as ripped" as before but I refuse to let these injuries and other setbacks define my health.
Working out is one of the few empowering things in my life right now. It's really the only action I can take where if I put X amount of effort for Y amount of time, I know almost for a fact I'll get Z results and actually grow as an individual, or in this case hopefully shrink!
