Went up, feeling discouraged

So I've been trying to lose weight since around the start of April. I've been constricting my calories and logging what I've eaten with the LoseIt app (budget of about 1600). I've also exercised almost everyday (mainly cardio). I have gone over budget with calories but that's normally when I've logged my exercise into LoseIt and it stills says that I'm under budget afterwards. I've also had a couple of cheat days along the way.

I've tried fasting (both 16:8 and 20:4) and normally don't eat until 12 now. I'm also diabetic (type 1) and take insulin. Since I'm trying to control my sugar too I'm trying to restrict my sugar intake and do lower carbs when possible.

I started at 166 earlier, I lost a pound about 5 days ago and hopped on the scale this afternoon and I gained to where I'm now above my starting weight.

It's just frustrating as I know I'm not perfect but I am really trying and it still seems like I'm still somehow making things worse.

Any helps or advice would be appreciated.
