How can I end my impatient mentality toward food?

I have a hard time waiting for food. If i know a food that i want is available to me whenever i want it, I can't wait for it. In my head I'm always like "I'm an adult and I can have it if I want to. who's gonna stop me" or "why wait to have it tomorrow when its right here right now? Who cares" Often times this is soon after I had already eaten, and always when i'm not hungry. I sometimes try to justify it by telling myself it doesn't matter when i eat the calories and ill just cut out the calories for the next day. but that doesn't work because the cycle continues the next day, and sometimes it's worse. Does anyone else have this problem
