Hello, so, I'm hoping you guys can help me.
I'm a 4'11" previously slim but now quite overweight woman. I'm 30 now. I'm at my heaviest of about 135lbs. I'd like to get down to 120lb at least, if not further.
Diet is an okay way to drop the weight but due to my height my calorie allowance is way too low to be able to do it with diet alone. I have tried to exercise before but I'm not very sporty. I have low energy levels at the best of times (I had ME/CFS as a teenager and as an adult I have a chronic health condition one of the symptoms of which is fatigue). I'm not making excuses (any more), just giving potential barriers on top of the mental ones.
I've always lacked upper body strength - I can't finish a push up. I have always historically enjoyed running though.
Anyway, during the lockdown period I would like to get into the habit of daily home fitness. It doesn't have to be much right, maybe 10-20 minutes a day? I have tried looking got YouTube routines but I don't feel they are suitable for a complete noob. Can someone recommend a good routine, where to learn how to do the exercises properly and how to best build up strength and stamina to get better at it? I'm tired of my clothes not fitting and feeling out of breath from going for a gentle walk. I also really like cake though. Thanks!
