I don't know if this is even the place to ask this. The rules don't seem to indicate that it's not allowed, but I also haven't seen many posts here asking this type of question...so...
I've been watching/having on in the background a lot of Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team. It's making me want to dance. I'm not good at dancing and haven't taken a dance class in about 30 years (other than Zumba).
However, since I'm stuck at home, can't go to the gym, and pollen is too bad for me to comfortably be outside, I thought I could probably find an app that I could use to teach me 8 counts.
I've been trying to find stuff like that on my fire stick (the only streaming device in this room, although I could swap it out for a Roku stick that is upstairs if there are more options there), but I see a lot of Zumba and stuff like that, which is fine, but not what I'm looking for.
There were a bunch of DVDs and VHS tapes that came out in the late 90s/early 2000s that just had choreography for dances from Britney Spears, NSYNC, Christina Aguilera, Janet Jackson, etc. I used to do stuff like that with my friends. It didn't matter that some people were good at dancing and others weren't. It wasn't difficult choreography that included precise footwork. In fact, it was all pretty basic stuff that even performers who weren't great dancers could do.
I can't seem to find that kind of stuff now. Can anyone help at all? I want to learn choreography at my own pace, in my own house and then repeat it a lot till I actually know it and can have fun doing it (even if I'm bad at it) and then move on to another dance. Shit, I'd settle for line dances or something.
Help, please.
Thanks in advance.
