Like many of you I'm stuck at home right now. I lost about 25 lbs last year, and have been plateaued for about 5 months. But I had been priding myself on not re-gaining the weight like I have many times before. But this quarantine had me struggling. I already struggle with anxiety, which I had been generally keeping under control with running. But I haven't been running during the quarantine because I'm really scared of getting sick. Instead, I turned to food and booze. Every day I was having a drink (at least one) and chocolate (a lot). But I've decided to get back on the wagon because I'm not enjoying watching the scale going up and honestly it's adding to all the general stress. I've already tried quitting both cold turkey and here I am again. So every day I'm gonna give myself a choice to help curb the binge before it starts: chocolate or Liquor. I can choose one each day and not feel guilty about having a moderate amount of it, but I can't have both. Here's to losing those last few pounds and not letting quarantine destroy progress!
