Around September last year I gave MFP a go and over about 2 months, I lost 3kg. Eventually I lost motivation to log as I was wasn’t seeing changes on the scales.
When I started again, I weighed 87.2kg, at 175cm. I again weighed myself today and I now weigh 87.8kg despite logging daily and eating within 100kj of my daily goal that was set on average and eating at a 2000kj deficit. Which is killing my motivation to keep going.
I’ve cut down from having a beer daily to twice a week, I’ve been making those small switches like white bread/rice to brown bread/rice and drinking lower kJ drinks from what I did drink and I’ve been making an effort to be more active.
I am noticing I am losing some stomach fat, not as much as I’d like to however at the same time the scales don’t reflect what I think I’m seeing and it’s not helping my motivation.
