Can I Lose 12-15 Pounds Per Month?

Hey Everyone!

I'm a college student, and I'm really tired of carrying all this fat. I'm always insecure, and whenever I walk the hallways of my college, I always feel like everybody is looking at me. In addition to all that, I also want to lose this fat for my mom. Every year for the past five years, I always promise that I'll lose the weight or at least some of it, but whenever I go back to Hong Kong (I live in NYC), I always end up going back at the same weight or even heavier. Finally, I just want to be healthy.

I've already lost 22 pounds in the past two months, but I want to lose more. I'm currently 278 pounds, 6'1 ft, and 19 years old. I eat around 2000-2300 calories per day, and walk 10,000 steps per day (I burn around 550-600 calories). What else could I do in order to lost around 12-15 pounds per month until around May or June?
