Hello all, I’m sure these type of questions get asked almost weekly, but I’m looking for a quick pinch of advise. I’m 226lb, male 5ft11 going to the gym doing weights and light cardio 4-5x a week on a 1000 calorie deficit since last May. I started at a weight of 286lb and have been dropping consistently up until the first week of January this year! I keep fluctuating between 225 and 226lb weighing myself almost daily, I haven’t changed anything apart from double checking my TDEE and still measuring my daily intake of food. I was hoping someone could advise if this is something that will pass or whether I should lower my deficit to 500! I’m not a fan of the thought of 1lb a week loss but I’m all out of ideas to break this plateau? Would appreciate any advice anyone can give, thanks!!
