Today I had to change the clothes I’m usually wearing

I had no other choice. As much as I liked them I had to stop wearing them as they simply did not fit anymore, no matter what I tried.

The first red flag happened last Saturday, in Glasgow. I was at the airport, flying back to Amsterdam, and I had to take my belt off during security: my pants almost fell off of me.

The second red flag came when I ordered a really nice jacket off of Amazon. I absolutely loved it and ordered the 3XL (maximum size) around 2 months ago. Sadly, it didn’t fit - it was too small. I returned it and bought it again two weeks ago: sadly, I have to return it again as it’s now too big for me. In fact, the 2XL came yesterday and it looks like I’ll need the XL in about one month (thank you, Amazon, for free returns haha).

Therefore, today I finally put my old pants and shirts in a storage box and I tried on the clothes Im had bought around 3 years ago, didn’t fit and was too ashamed to return. And guess what: they fit perfectly! Not only that, but they actually compliment my body; the old, oversize clothes didn’t do me any favors.

I’m 6ft, M29 and weighing 293lb currently (started losing at 341). My target is 210, so 83lb to go.

I’m still under the same insane routine of at least one trip abroad per week, half of nights spent in hotels and irregular eating schedules. Still, I’m happy to see the number on the scale going down every week.
