Not sure why I’m losing so fast

Hi all,

Two weeks ago, I (20F; 5’4; SW: 118) decided to start to lose the 10 pounds I gained over my semester abroad. I know that’s pretty low for my height, but it’s where I usually sit. Since then, I’ve been eating an average of 1,200 calories and not doing much exercise other than trying to hit 10,000 steps. I understand that with eating less suddenly, having less food in me + the loss of a bit of water weight/glycogen tends to lead to a quick drop at first, but two weeks later, and I’ve still been averaging close to -4 pounds a week. From yesterday to today, I went down 1 lb (granted I used the bathroom for the first time in a few days), and there’s no way I had a deficit of 3,500.

Any ideas? I’m confused. Weight graph
