Tip: Going to the Gym Sharpened My Intuitive Eating

When I'm going to the gym, I'm more in tune with my body. I find it is much easier to differentiate between strong emotional drives to eat and actual hunger when I'm engaged with my body. I'm not entirely sure why, and I'm sure this won't necessarily work for everyone, but if you're pursuing a better relationship with food/hunger cues, I'd recommend giving the gym a few weeks of your time to test it out.

(Note: intuitive eating, particularly after disordered patterns, takes much more than just this and there's plenty to read up on it that can help you, this is something I've noticed for myself that is a good supplement)
