Holy crap, I can fly internationally without having to buy an extra seat!
At my heaviest, I was 245kg (540lb) and when I had to fly I would always have to buy a second seat and use a significant portion of the seatbelt extender to lash myself down. This added greatly to the cost of travel and meant I just didn't go anywhere overseas because it was too expensive.
I'm also 193cm (6'4") and very broad-shouldered. I carry my weight all over and always looked substantially lighter than I actually was.
I have been following CICO and moderate exercise and have lost 73kg (160lb) and recently decided to travel to a friend's international wedding.
From measuring my office chair I knew that I would fit into a single extended-legroom economy seat without spreading over the armrest and so I booked a holiday that I have been dreaming of for 20 years, with the friend's wedding as the jumping-off point for further travel to places I have wanted to visit all my adult life. I ended up logging more air miles in 6 weeks than I had in the previous 20+ years.
I was able to forgo the seatbelt extender and thus qualify for exit row seats which added greatly to the flexibility of my bookings, as some planes only have exit row extended legroom seating. I'm not gonna lie, some of the flights were a little squeezy, but I always booked with care for my fellow passengers, selecting seats where I could position myself so that they weren't inconvenienced (i.e. aisle seats with a raisable aisle armrest or bulkhead seats with the tray table in the armrest between me and the next passenger, making it solid and limiting my spread into their seat space)
I was also able to reap the benefits of my fitness programme, being able to climb stairs and mountains that I never would have been able to handle at my heavier weight.
Now to lose the rest of the weight and travel in comfort next time I head overseas.
