Building self confidence while losing weight?
So I’m preaching to the choir when I say being obese demolishes self confidence. I’ve been obese since I was a child and as such my self confidence is terrible which has stopped me dead in many aspects of life such as relationships.
Now, I want to change. Issue is, it’s difficult to lose weight to gain self confidence when you lack the self confidence to think you’ll follow through.
I just don’t feel able to 180 my life. Perhaps it’s projection, but it feels like my weight has seeped into every aspect of my life since I can’t do anything without it affecting me. I really want to change, but I don’t know what change means because this is all I’ve ever known
So, what can I do to build my self confidence while in the process of losing weight to keep me motivated?
