Daily burn

First of all this is a dumb question. I think I’m doing this right but if there’s anyone who can and will correct me, I’d be glad to hear it.

And if you want to mercilessly ridicule me then that’s fine too actually.

My question is this: Should I include my daily steps as calories burned and subtract these calories from my daily intake?

I take a lot of steps. Today I left work with 14,700 steps taken, and I even got off early today. I recorded a loss of 735 calories to account for that.

What makes me unsure is the knowledge that my TDEE already accounts for a typical day of movement. And thus I’m not sure that taking 14k steps should be accounted for. My TDEE is 1600 of that matters.

Again, so sorry for this question. I am not new to the losing weight thing... but I’m fairly new at the exercise angle.

Thanks everyone.
