Been on keto but looking to change, any suggestions?

M 5'10" and gone from 250ish lbs to about 175-180 over the last 18 months or so ('lazy' keto in that I don't weigh anything out, but I never cheat). Been seriously looking at a local gym, only issue is needing a long-term contract and am looking to move out relatively soon, but wasting a few hundred dollars on not using the last months of the contract is probably worth having a gym literally on the way home from my job so I can't make excuses not to go, lol.

As for why I'm looking to change, I've been plateau'd pretty hard for the last few months. I know at one point I weighed in at 170ish and am currently 180, but I feel like I look exactly the same, lol (I think the day I saw 170 was a freak occurrence of the perfect time to check the scale or something). I've also been wanting to transition to something more sustainable (I don't plan on having no carbs for my entire life), and honestly it fucking sucks not really being able to drink and have 'social' foods ever. I want to be able to go out and meet people! Also, I feel like I've safely reached the 'not fat' stage where I feel more comfortable focusing more on getting fit and less on just losing weight if that makes sense? I mean, I'd still really like to lose some more fat, but I also want to build muscle and get fit.

Any advice? Obviously going to focus more on going to the gym (been using an elliptical in the garage, but my personal rule after first starting a diet was I have to either be on a really strict diet, or very regularly having actual workouts), but is there anything else I should do beyond focusing on eating healthy?

tdlr been on keto and relatively close to goal weight but looking for something more long-term sustainable
