Stay-at-home situation - making the best of it

It sucks to be stuck at home. A year ago I (M30) would have just spent small fortunes on takeout and delivery and just eat out of boredom. But not now.

After a difficult first week where I had to get used to the fact that I won't be able to exercise nowhere close to the same level as before I realized that the only way I would be able to keep losing the weight that I need is to plan and exercise discipline to follow the plan.

So I did it: I printed out an April 2020 month calendar page and I wrote down in each of the feeding days (still doing alternate day fasting) my "menu" for that day, ensuring that I keep at least 500kcal below my BMR. I don't recommend this next part to everyone but I also wrote down my weight goal every two days to keep me motivated to achieve it - don't recommend it because it takes months of experience to fully accept that the weight will go up even if you're eating and exercising properly and that it is absolutely normal and temporary. Most importantly, I hung this sheet right above my work desk so that I see it every single time I watch a netflix video or work.

The result? I've managed to keep losing weight and I feel really good about myself because I am exercising self discipline so I know that I am in control.

Starting weight: 155.3kg (341lb)

Current weight: 113.3kg (249lb)

Goal weight: 93kg (205lb)

As a bonus, I know that during this time I will lose both fat and muscle tissue (it's unavoidable due to the lack of exercise) but this means that when I have reached my goal weight I will be able to - and I cannot believe I would ever get to say this - do a bulk (lean, of course) to get my muscle mass back up. I guess I found a really cool goal for when I will have lost enough weight.
