Is it just me, or are the average caloric requirements on websites and shows and info sheets etc way too high? They all say people averagely need 2-2.5k calories a day depending on weight height age gender etc. But like when I tried to calculate my calories for myself, eating more than 1k (even slightly) meant I maintained or even gained weight. Even though I exercise ca. 3 hrs a week.
Granted im 5 ft, female, 22. But still, even when I try find websites to see how much Im sposed to eat it says like 1,7 maintenance. If I ate that much I'd gain weight like hell.
Has anyone experienced this too? Ps I calvulate calories religiously so trust me, Im calculating right lol.
