Hello!
5’8’’ and 161lbs female checking in!
So ever since I’ve been home (4 weeks) I’ve been eating well, doing cardio ~3 times a week and bodyweight workouts ~3 or 4 times a week. Each cardio session lasts about 30 minutes and consists of running, cycling or swimming, and the bodyweight workouts last about 40 minutes. I’m vegetarian, drink 2L of water and only eat two main meals a day (low carb, high protein), and have pretty much cut sugar, alcohol and dairy (except for a lil Easter egg binge last Sunday).
I weighed in at 74.3kg/163lbs when I first arrived, and after four weeks I’m only down 1kg/2lbs. This figure has pretty much stayed the same for the last two weeks.
I feel great! But wondering if anyone has any insight into why nothing’s changed? I’m about to start commuting to work again (cycling ~20mins a day/5 days a week) and am hoping adding this will help. I’m loving the change in lifestyle and the increase in my energy, but I’d really like to drop to about 145lbs in the next two months. I’ve been under that before so I know it’s possible! But is what I’m doing not quite enough?
TLDR : Eating healthy, strength training and cardio three times a week, but not seeing expected results. What’s the deal?
