I really really want to lose the weight, and I go to bed every night making all sorts of resolutions, all sorts of promises to myself. I have lost weight once before, and I remember being in that zone, when all you see is the goal. That was before I had kids, a demanding job and a thousand other things that had to get done. I was able to focus on weightloss. Now, I have to juggle with a lot more, and I find that my fickle mind does not support me. I have been trying to stick to one good habit - tried giving up sugar, but ended up eating cake in office on the very first day. I know I need to do something, but when it comes to the crunch moment, when I have to say no to a cupcake, or get up in the morning, and go for a walk, my mind always gives in. Any tips on how to get rid of the cobwebs in my head and just stick to the plan?
