I've been working on a recomp thing the past two months or so, so I've mainly been lifting at the gym. Well today I popped into a cardio step class and I felt soooo good afterwards. I haven't done enough cardio to really break a sweat for a while and I forgot about the mood improving / mind clearing benefits. It might be true that cardio doesn't do much for body composition, if that's your goal, but I've been in a seriously terrible mood for the past week and tonight I felt really calm and endorphiny.
So...psa for cardio. Don't let the bros get you down. (At my uni, a lot of the guys are very critical of girls who do cardio. It's annoying. There's room for both.)
