I have a meeting with a trainer today to setup a workout routine and I'm nervous.

I decided to get a membership to Planet Fitness recently and I went with the black card. Part of the reason is that at $23 a month with a 12 month commitment, that's a significant amount of money to me, and being the cheapskate I am, that will motivate me. But I'm nervous about this. One of the perks was having access to the trainer for the club, and one of the services provided is having him create a workout plan for you with your goals in mind. I'm a 325 lb man at 6' tall, way above where I should be. I was 220 with abs at one point and that's where I want to get back to, which means I want to lose fat and add muscle at the same time. I've already scaled back eating in general and started eating healthier food when I do eat. Instead of having toaster strudels or pop tarts I've been eating Yoplait yogurt, I've been eating apples and grapes instead of chips, etc. But it's intimidating having to talk to someone about this, I'm really ashamed of my body. Mostly because I know I can do better and I should do better, but I'm afraid I won't.
