How do people drink so much water in a day?

I hear people saying they drink a gallon of water a day, or like 100 oz a day and what not. I don't understand it.

I've been consciously drinking over 70oz a day for the past week and I have to pee every 15 minutes. I drink a bottle of water, for the next hour and a half I'm heading to the bathroom multiple times with an urgent need to pee. I swear I've pissed 99% of the water I've been drinking as it comes out just as fast as it comes in.

People who do this, HOW? are you just constantly drinking water? A bottle of water itself takes me a good 30 minutes to drink, otherwise I'd just be chugging water all day.

Is this something your body gets used to over time?
