Feeling full

So I have been counting calories since January 14th and am down almost 30 pounds. SW: 307 CW: 279.5. My calorie intake is about 2,100, but I was keeping it even lower at between 1300 to 1400 then I started to feel bad and binged crazy one day (4,200 calories) and felt like quitting. Thankfully I regrouped and decided I wanted long term success and health so I have been between 1800 and 2100 calories with no issues. But today I was at about 1600 and felt extremely full and without cravings. I ended up eating a candy bar and ending up at 1850. I think this may be because I try to eat plenty of protein to feel full and have been drinking tons of water. My main concern is that I do not want to starve myself and fall off the wagon again by slowly eating less subconsciously wanting faster results only to feel like total crap then binge eat and give up.

Should I be concerned or am I just over analyzing myself? Also I am a 27M if that helps put it in perspective
