Dieters of Reddit, when did you notice your relationship with food changed?

I’m noticing a lot of changes in the way I eat, so I want to know if other people have gone through this during the journey too. Today is the day I noticed:

So for starters, I love Indian food and would frequent a cheap go-to spot by my apartment weekly (3x wk at least). I haven’t ordered from there since I started my journey but I decided to treat myself for breaking into 180s zone cause treat yo’ self. I got my usual order of 2 Tikka Masala meals (yes for myself..), but, for the first time ever, I could barely get through half of one.

Now, these meals are pretty large for a cheap price and I’ve always ate at least one in a night. However, I instinctively froze one meal to enjoy the next day or whenever I thought and then portioned out the other using another bowl as soon as I opened the bag. I have never done this with take out (only my meal preps) and didn’t even think about it when it happened. I realized what I did/what was happening when I felt a little nausea when considering eating the rest of my plate.

Can happily say that the rest of the food is going in the fridge.

TLDR; Noticed changed eating behaviors and was extremely shocked given previous eating habits. Wondering if others have gone through it as well.
