Hello! I am planning on going on my first medical mission trip towards the end of May this year and am looking to get in shape. I’m a female, 5’2” at 220lbs. I want to lose weight/eat better/get in shape/do all the things, but I don’t have much time before this trip. Even if I don’t lose weight, I’m really just hoping to feel better and be able to “keep up” a little better on any hikes we go on, any walking we do, etc. the trip is in Haiti so I know the weather will be quite hot.
I started cardio kickboxing a few weeks ago and I can’t attend every week unfortunately due to working night shift so the 7-8pm classes conflict my schedule a lot, but when I can I try to go twice a week. If you have a walking or workout regimen for beginners that will at least help me not be so out of breath walking up hills I would appreciate if you shared it!
Again, I’m not expecting any major results in the next 12 weeks but I also know I can improve a lot of aspects in my life in that amount of time if I really work for it.
