The best you can do to avoid binges and unmindful eating is not to keep snacks at home at all

The title.

I always thought that I can pack my whole kitchen with snacks and all this junk and just be okay. Turns out it's not true. It took me some time to admit it: even if I'm doing great at the moment, I'll eventually slip on some bad day, if I'm letting myself keep all the yummy things at home. It can be anything: bad day at work, my period coming, just feeling down, ANYTHING. If I have lots of junk at home, I'll eventually eat it all.

So I decided to stop. From now on it's only foods that you need to prepare first in my kitchen. If I'll crave some chocolate bar I'll go and buy it, there's absolutely no need to stuck my whole house with snacks, thinking "oh, I'll just live it there and I'll eat it only when I'm hungry". Yeah, well, been here, done that. Didn't work.

So, no snacks and junk at home from now on. I'm done with reversing my progress because of some stupid momentary temptation.

Anyone who does the same?
