Weight Loss for Everyone: Thank you

Thank you

before vs after (6'1 M now 208lbs previously 262)

I really don't know how to start off this post. Long time lurker, first time poster I guess sums it up the best. I honestly really never really thought I'd get this far in my journey, much less in under a year. I was firmly in the belief that I was doomed to live the 260lbs lifestyle from high school till my death bed, I never even gave it a fleeting glance that I might one day be in a body I could one day be proud of. I was so rooted in this idea that I never even bothered to take a proper before picture, I hope the one here is good enough to get the point across.

I want to thank everyone in this community from the bottom of my cholesterol filled heart for giving me the inspiration, hope and perseverance to get me this far and hopefully further in the future. The dedication I've seen and advice I was given to me has changed my life for the better and I honestly don't think there are enough adjectives to appropriately convey how I feel. I love everyone here.

how for the fun stuff. I managed to lose 50ish pounds over the course of the last 8 months thanks to intermittent fasting and cutting out all liquids with the exception of water, coffee and the occasional energy drink for those early/late shifts. There's no way I'd get into my last year of school without coffee. I didn't follow any specific diet, I just ate less. However, I'm considering going vegetarian or keto, haven't quite made my mind up yet (eggs are too good to go without).

I've mostly just been doing cardio and body weight exercises, not much weight lifting but I'm going to start asap. I'm still pretty chubby and my moobs are nothing to be proud of, but everything takes time, right?

Edit: grammatical errors. and sorry for the Instagram filter, I figured if it's good enough for tinder it's good enough for reddit
