[reposting since I forgot to put my title, oops!]
I did my run outside today for the first time! I finished W2D1 of Couch to 5K.
The first week of Couch to 5K I did on the treadmill last week. Today I went to a running store and got fitted for actual running shoes (goodbye old walking sneakers!!) and picked up socks. I was so excited to try them out but I had to wait for my phone and Fitbit to charge for an hour after I got home.
When I started I tried just doing a "free run" without any plan, but I got overwhelmed so I ended up turning on the C25K app to get the interval cues. After it started I thought "oh god I can't do this" but then I countered that with "well you're doing it now so shut up and keep going" and I just kept going even though it was hard! I had to pause for a few seconds here and there but I did the whole thing.
I've also been doing my CICO mostly religiously (I had a cheat meal last night since my grandfather is visiting for the next couple weeks) but I haven't actually weighed myself yet. I'm curious to see what my scale says tomorrow morning when I wake up.
Anyway sorry for the long ramble I just wanted to share with you guys! <3
