My Progress 20 lbs down!

Hi All,

The picture on the left was taken right after I finished grad school. I weighed 207.2 lbs. When my father saw me at this weight (my heaviest ever) he said, "You really shouldn't do this to yourself." It was so hurtful, especially coming from someone who fat-shamed me when I was a kid and teen. But at the same time, I know I was ignoring the problem and was out of touch with how big I had gotten.

I've been out of grad school for about a year and a half now. Lots of big changes in my life, including incremental improvements in my relationship with food & physical activity.

It's been a slow-go these past 18 months. But I am so happy to be 20 pounds down (22 to be exact). I've had a tough 4 days (not eating at deficit) so I decided to take an updated pic and compare. Can't wait to lose 10 more!
