My GF (21F) and I (23M) have been dating for 2 years and im reaching a point with her where im starting to get annoyed by her lack of wanting to get healthy.
We both have been overweight for entire lives but about 6 months, we both decided to change our lives and lose weight, except, im the only one who's kept their promise. Since then, I have lost 45 pounds (going from 250 to 205 @ 5'10") and shes actually gained 10 pounds (going from 230 to 240 @ 5'2").
She's still in school while iv already graduated, so where currently in a long distance relationship. Thats kind of become a problem as its hard to keep each other accountable since we only see each other a few weekends a month.
I have a feeling this may be downvoted to hell and you may see me as some misogynistic pig but i am genuinely annoyed she isnt trying at all (because tbh she isnt). And on top of that, when we do spend time together, she constantly insists on junk snacking and late night fast food runs, and i feel pressured to do it and i always feel like shit after. I feel like she doesnt want me to lose weight at all. Iv never brought up my frustrations publicly but im not sure i can bottle it up any further.
I really do love her and shes an amazing and beautiful woman but i just feel like im not being the best me possible being with her and i dont want to continue growing resentment towards her.
Any advice? Im a 23 y/o idiot, i could use wisdom lol
