Hello, I have been wanting to lose weight for a long time. But I am struggling and I need some advice. This is very weird to open up to the public so bear with me.
Here is my background:
Growing up as a kid I used to play a lot of sports such as tennis, basketball, soccer and was also very skinny and active at the time of 12 years old. I went through a lot of personal problems which included family problems that sent me through depression and multiple bad attempts of .... at the ages of 13-15 As a result, I have accumulated and have gained so much weight and an abysmal amount of stretch marks around my arms, stomach, back and shoulders. I skyrocketed from 65kg to 100kg within a short period of time. After that depressing phase, It has maintained through multiple years and then skyrocketed once again due to reappearing family problems. As of today, I am currently 148kg (I feel so terrible about myself) and I have a larger amount of stretch marks everywhere. I am seriously wanting to lose weight. I have tried calorie counting, shake replacements, super low-calorie diets and other things.
I am super afraid of having a huge amount of loose skin as I lose weight. Growing up I've also had multiple surgeries on both knees and ankles. As of now, I have both bad knees and ankles due to several basketball injuries and I feel so heavy that I might be even more injury-prone than before. I no longer have family problems and I have my life straight with a loving girlfriend of 3 years, so I was thinking it was time to really look for help.
I am struggling and I am desperate for help. How do I lose weight permanently with bad knees and ankles, being super heavy and not have loose skin? Thank you.
I want a plan. Exercise routine. Sleeping patterns. Anything that helps me reach my goal and become skinny and lean again without having any excess loose skin. I want to have a healthy lifestyle with a tight body to go with it.
