Please help me :( so last year I began my fitness journey at 130 ish pounds and lost around 17 pounds in a few months (I’m a 18 year old girl). And I’ve been at a stable ish weight at 113 pounds for about a year now but recently I gained some weight and I gain much more weight around my period now than I used to. So I’ve tried to lose weight, my diet and fitness is on point since I’m a vegan, and I intermittent fast + I workout. But the thing is no matter how hard I try I just CANT lose any weight. And it makes it so much harder since I gain water weight when I strength train + around my periods so it becomes very difficult for me to track any progress. I’m just so tired of trying like EVERYTHING to get my weight back to where it was at 113 (it’s floating around 117/118 pounds but In between periods it comes down to 115 ish so I know I haven’t actually gained any weight but the water just won’t come off + I can’t get lower than 113). To get water weight off I’ve tried so many things; drinking more water, magnesium, cardio, more sleep, less salt, less refined sugar, etc etc. But nothing helps me keep my weight stable or helps me get lower than 113. I’ve tried cutting back on carbs but the protein shakes I tried give me acne (and I love my clear skin ๐ญ). I’m so fed up of this and every month I try not to but I end up having a horrible cheat day (it’s not intentional sadly) and eat such crappy foods and the next day I eat so little to compensate for what I did and it makes me feel so disgusting. I’ve been struggling with this for a few months now and I’m so tired of it. But recently I came to the conclusion that my hormones are probably out of control. So idk if I’m right here but I’m gonna try a totally different approach and just relax and let my hormones balance out (I’m hoping this will bring my weight back to its initial weight at 113). By relax I mean, eat comfortably and not under eat/ overeat, drink more water, get more sleep, not workout to hard, stress less, etc. Please let me know if there’s any other solution you see that I don’t. And do you think that what I plan to do will help? (Sorry my thoughts were all over the place, so if anything I wrote was unclear just ask about it ๐)
