30 Day Accountability Challenge - Day 17

Hello losers,

I hope you're getting after it this merry time of year.

Weight by end of month (217 - 214 lbs, preferably trend weight): 215.6 this morning.

Stay within calorie range: I've got a big dinner full of roasted veg in my future. Check mark taken away for yesterday. I think it will balance out for maintenance overall but I can't be deciding to smash extra calories just because. Side note, I need to hold myself to the only one sweet thing per trip to Trader Joe's rule next time. 14/16 days.

Exercise 5 days a week: I didn't do HIIT but was active enough to count it begrudgingly last night. Tonight HIIT. I should be chasing a higher intensity here but it's just been tough to make time this season. 15/17 days.

Limit purchased coffee drinks (3 a week), if exceeded, $25 donation: Wanted a peppermint mocha. 9/13 allowed.

Self-care time (drawing, journaling, beauty treatments, anything that makes me feel taken care of): Going to try to focus on the pieces of this time of year I really enjoy versus the bull shit.

Try a new recipe once a week: Smoky black bean soup from dry beans & Mexican red lentil stew so far. Tweaked my usual chili recipe & the results were hecking good, so I'm counting that. 3/5 weeks.

Finish The Body Keeps the Score: No progress yet.

Note something jolly every damn day: Had to procure more wrapping paper & will continue the quest to wrap ALL THE THINGS! Packages are out of my hair too.

How are you all doing?
