I don't get CICO

Over the past 2 months or so I have been eating one large meal a day pretty much. Think a big mac meal or something with junior chicken on the side on the side so 1300-1500 calories or so (this is not what I eat but just a reference). I am not an active person but I read that even while doing nothing our body tends to burn more than 1300 calories a day. I don't understand why I have gained weight in the past 2 months though? The CICO doesn't seem to be adding up at all. Shouldn't I at least be maintaining my weight considering how many calories we burn doing day to day activities and not even exercising?
