Shedding off an ex

Three years ago I was in an abusive and emotionally manipulative relationship. I found security and safety in eating food and usually quick-service because I never really learned to cook for myself. I’ve told my friends in the past that “anything anyone has ever done to you needs recognition to cope; but letting them continue to wreck havoc in your daily life once they’re gone is on you” I have finally made that decision today and took the steps to completely “shed” off the only thing left from my ex. Good riddance to the next forty pounds and hello to clean eating/the body I love without anyone’s “approval” of it!
