The neverending war between my mortal nemisis; SUGAR

Sugar is the absolute devil. You think it tastes good. You think it's the perfect treat. You think it's the most delectable nectar of the earth. I'm telling you from the standpoint of someone whos just binged on sugar. It's definitely not worth the pain that comes afterwards, not even half of the pain is worth dealing with.

The disgusting aftertaste of sugar hits immediately after you finish the last bite of the sweet treat, like a sucker punch to the face. Its this tangy, dreadful coating on your tongue and no amount of water is able to wash it off. Furthermore, it acts like a siren, longing for more sugar, MORE SUGAR to patch this emptiness that has opened from the withdrawal from sugar. Hence it tries to coo you into eating more. Just one more. One more bite wouldn't hurt, right? You take another bite, but each bite is marginally less satisfying then you hoped. Frustrated, you continue to eat but can never reach the euphoric sensation you wanted. This is how sugar tricks your mind to consume more, knowing that you'll never be satisfied.

Sugar is the bane of my existance, the worst creation of mankind and the epitomy of evil. Everyday, I rage war on sugar, the ceaseless waves of cravings growing stronger, more terrifying and faster. But I must prevail and show no sign of weakness. Everyday I must go to war against this colossal army.

I was overrun today. But I will get up and try harder. The war against me and sugar will never end until I finally reach an oasis where I am able to control this demonic beast.
