Just have to push through and go to the damn gym

This past weekend I got stuck in a different city because we had a huge snow storm and I couldn't drive back. I didn't have a space to cook food, so I basically had to go out to eat for every meal, and didnt go to the gym for 4 days. This was a big setback for my weightloss and my finances.

I let go of it pretty well, and told myself that it was only a couple of days and that I would start eating well again once I got back. Well when I got back I got hit with all of the free sweets at work and home, and after already being on a shitty food streak I caved in, and have been overeating like crazy for the whole week, and in turn have been feeling like crap physically, which destroys my motivation to go to the gym as well.

I want to tell myself to just let loose for the rest of the year because there are going to be a crazy amount of temptations (my work tends to cater us a ton of food during the holiday season, along with all the sweets and junk food at family gatherings). But I know if I just force myself to go to the gym right now, that it will start a chain reaction, just like it always does.

Today could be the first day I don't eat over my TDEE if I want it to be, and I have time to go to the gym right now before I go bowling later tonight.

I am also a bit sick, not enough to stop me from working out, but enough to help me make the excuse not to go.

After I post this I am going to go. Really just needed to hype myself up and get some of this off my chest.
