I used to be the un athletic kid in my class

Hey guys. I’m only 13 and probably shouldn’t be on reddit but I wanted to share my story. I’m on my phone typing this so I’m not gonna be using proper punctuation.

When I was maybe 6-8 I would eat constantly. My mom was always stressed and not in a good place so she would never put up a fight when I would tell her I wanted food. I don’t remember when I was that young very well but from pictures I was clearly a fat kid. By the time I was in 5th or 6th grade I was almost 190 pounds. I was put down by my family and my brother (the one person I looked up to) all the time. I was determined to get faster and stronger to show them that I wasn’t fat and useless. After I turned 11 or 12 I dropped weight. I didn’t notice but now I can tell. I’m currently 13, 5’6-7 and 140 pounds. I’m not very weak anymore and I’m one of the better players on my team. I can finally feel good because I know that I was the only person who helped me. I made myself a better athlete all on my own.
