I lost 40 lbs after a rough breakup that offset some mental health issues. I neglected my mind and hit the gym twice a day eating 2k calories/day and lifting like a madman, playing soccer, going on runs. I weighed 228.6 when I stopped monitoring my intake and finally committed to a six week intensive therapy program. I stayed the same weight and gained so much more in emotional education. Today I am proud to say it's time to get back on the saddle.
I'm going to do 3 workouts per week, upper lower split, and do walks on the treadmill. I think I can get away with more than 2000 calories as well, but a TDEE chart will tell after a week.
See ya in the gym losers!
