Background: I'm an 18 year old with ADHD. The main problem that comes with my ADHD is a lack of motivation. There were phases in my life that I couldn't bring myself to get out of bed in the morning. Since I've started college my life has been rapidly improving, but I still haven't found the motivation to lose weight. I'm currently over 300 pounds with a mild soda and sugar addiction. It feels like there should've been a point when I would be able to say "that's enough, I need to lose weight." But that moment has never come. I have a serious problem, but have never felt the real urge to lose weight. I feel like I could do it if I found the motivation, but I don't even know where to start. At this point I'm almost ready to accept that I'll be overweight forever, almost all of my hope is gone. So what are the best ways/tips to lose weight? What's a first step I can take that will help me push through this? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
TLDR; I'm a Freshman in college with ADHD and I'm losing hope that I'll ever find the motivation to lose weight.
