I have to preface that I'm already at the lower end of normal weight. Actually, I've been severely underweight for a long time, since I have a fast metabolism (at least, I had it. Now I'm 30 and maybe it's slowing down a bit).
Problem is, I have a lot of fat left in my legs. I don't know if I'm skinny fat, because I went on and off with exercise during the last two years. I've never praticed a sport in all my youth, but I've tried to make up for the lost time, so I begun to work on my muscular mass. I don't do cardio, because my goal has always been to gain strenght. I actually can see some result, I'm quite toned, not super defined but I can tell there are muscles under the fat.
I think I need to lose some pounds, so I've started dieting and working out again, but the water retention and DOMS are maybe hiding the weightloss. I can't be sure. Has anyone ever lost weight while doing work out, even if you hadn't much to lose? How?
I should add that I'm taking meds, so maybe that has something to do with me not losing enough weight.
