I need some serious advice, guys! I absolutely hate doing the one thing I really need to incorporate into my lifestyle — strength training.
I just don’t like it. I’ve never liked it! With cardio, I can pop in my earbuds and zone out. With ST, I have to pay attention because I’m counting, grunting, and constantly starting and stopping. It’s just not my “thing.” However, I know I need it for overall health, I’m getting older and I know it will improve my metabolism and running performance. I want to do it, I just don’t know what kick in the pants I need to actually do it.
I used to hate running, but I figured out ways to make it more enjoyable and now I love it. I couldn’t imagine myself not doing it! I’m sure the same will happen with ST, I just don’t know what the heck to do!
