Follow up - saw a Dr today

I posted I think last week about my knee bothering me since I moved cities and I thought I messed it up by taking stairs every day and my weight. Finally saw a Dr who helped me out.

Turns out I have something that's pretty common and that is quadriceps tendinitis. Has anyone experienced this before? My right leg feels it the most, my left is pretty normal. Turns out what I THOUGHT was a good idea, was actually the treatment for it. So I will need to continue stretching and someone here mentioned to do some strength exercises. I guess I will be doing that more often and find myself in the gym on my days off to relieve this pain and hopefully get back to feeling normal.
