Stats: I'm 5'4. Currently at 191lbs. Lost 42lbs over the last like 5 months. Have about 41 more to go.
I started just using a calorie counting app, exercising about 3-4 times a week (burning about 400-500 calories each time). I just got a body scan scale. It says I'm at 41% body fat with a 1480 BMR.
My calorie counter app adjusted my number to 1230 for a 1.5lb per week loss. And then I generally eat back calories burned at the gym. I was at about a 1150 net calorie average. Which is maybe too low?
But my TDEE puts me closer to 1450 per day. If I use that, I would then not eat back gym calories? How do I account for the occasional cheat day?
I just keep having some frustrating moments and now with my new scan info I'm trying to be more efficient/better with my diet and exercise.
Any help would be appreciated. At the gym I do some weight lifting and about an hour on the treadmill at an incline
