Are lunch breaks work outs worth it?

I have the ability to work out after work, or even before work so it’s not like I’m crunching for time or anything. I just don’t want to risk anything with the weather getting so snowy and icy if I were to work out before work, and after work I know my significant other waits for me to get home for dinner (he will burn the house down if he cooks himself) and with his class schedule it really limits time together.

I get an hour for lunch, and planned on potentially spending 30 of it working out. Probably splitting it 3 days for cardio, 2 days for weight training. I’m not necessarily looking to lose weight quickly, more of a slow and steady lean out approach to it. I’m wondering if it’s even worth it to only spend 30 minutes 5 days a week; when I have the ability to spend longer in the gym?

Any advice or input would be helpful beyond the “ its better than nothing “!
